I have joined one week ago, but I am active only since yesterday.
I am still looking around to better understand how the site works. I have read the guidelines and the rules but there are still unanswered questions:
- How short can be a post? (I have seen a one line posts).
- Is it possible to see all the article written by a specific user?
- How to search for users?
I have tried to enter the username in the search box, but I never get the profile of the user.
I know that many of you are old time users.
Do you have answers to my questions?

I would also add that if you have a question on the rules that you can't find an answer for, you can message @GoAskAlice and get a response very quickly. It's also a good idea to read all of GAA's discussions. It took me a while to get used to all these new-fangled ways of navigating the site, but once you get the hang of it, it's much easier to find people and posts.

Hello and welcome to myLot! I'm happy to know you've joined up here too. Recognized you from the other site I used to write on.
Here's there's not too much restrictions here. It's not like the other site which was kind of totalitarian when it started. Just read the terms & help section and you should be good to go.

So glad you asked these questions Anna. I had the same ones in mind as another newbie here and you saved me asking them. Lots of great answers too.

Somehow, that was how I felt at first. Now that I have had some time to explore I am feeling more comfortable. I still have a lot to discover.

I was also wondering how long a post would have to be but couldn't find an answer to it.
