Facebook Addiction

I am addicted to Facebook. Seems like it consumes my life sometimes. I've tried to deactivate my account and find myself always looking at my phone with disappointment. Within a few days, I'm usually right back on it. And I can't stop scrolling! So I figured I would check this out and maybe trade one addiction for another! Ha! Your thoughts on the Facebook addiction? Am I the only one?

I found myself doing this or texting people but I found when I was bored I would do this, or I'd get into a depressing mood I would do this. It took a few weeks to get it out of my system and not log in. I do log in now, but don't tend to be on as often. I find myself doing more things, and going out with friends more.

The longest I've been off of it is 2 weeks. And it wasn't as interesting at first, but it's almost like it becomes a habit. It makes me so mad! Lol

@kschnitzmeyer It is ahabit! I find myself when I have nothing else to do logging on, or just to scroll thru things. Now I have shut off my data so notifications dont show up. It has really helped, and I have made plans on y days off.

Once I was at the same point when I use to spend 4 to 5 hours just scrolling the timelines of my friends. But now I am happy I don't have time for Facebook . I spend my time in something better and learning always .

I'll get to that point some day! It's just hard because I keep in contact with friends and family I don't normally get to see regularly

Yes, Facebook makes me addictive to. Even when I just want to visit for a while, I can't keep my hands from scrolling. It really consumes time

I've deactivated my account before too. I definitely can get a lot more done when I don't have it, but there's something about it that just keeps me coming back. I am in a lot of the groups I enjoy so I like to read about things like that. I don't ever play any games or anything on there.

I just like to read the memes. And honestly, that's how I keep up with the local news now! Lol

Cut down addiction to down to earth level, you do not need to deactivate your fb account, but use it only what it is for. Fb is not to waste time, it is social media.
