Well she is not exactly old. lol younger then I am. She is the daughter of a friend of mine I had since hubby was alive. Had not seen her for a while but her mom told me on the phone the other day she might be able to stay for a while here since I have been alone and not well and she needs a place to stay. She came yesterday on my birthday and went and got us cake and ice cream. and spent the night and has cleaned my house top to bottom. I gave her daughters room. I don't think my daughter is coming back. Have you ever had a friend you haven't seen for a long time surprise you by coming to your rescue? this is an original post by me bunnybon7

That sounds nice. Sometimes people surprise you when you think they have long forgotten about you. It's especially that she came on your birthday. Nope, no one has really done that for me. People tend to forget about me But it's okay. I've got great people in my life now!

Awesome, @bunnybon7, I am glad you are not alone. You do not mean your daughter is completely left the state for good do you?

Glad to hear this. I hope things go well. Back in 1987 my BFF came to visit. It was a pleasant surprise and she stayed for several months. I don't live well with others but she and I did very well and I was saddened when she had some family issues come up that make it so that she had to leave.

@bunnybon7 -- That is better than never having it happen. Things happen for a reason.

It is nice to see old friends. My meeting with mid school classmates was about 30 years after graduation. We are changing in appearance, but the link has been getting closer ever since. We had the 50 yrs reunion anniversity a few years ago with a booklet of contributions from each and every one.

Yes,I have had such pleasant experience once.I had stayed in a hotel. My purse was stolen at a restaurant.I had to pay the hotel bill before checking out and I was worried.Suddenly an old friend of mine unexpectedly turned up and paid all my dues there. It was one of my childhood friends who had left our town years back.

@bunnybon7 I was amazed when the manager told me that all my dues were paid and the person who had paid my bills was staying at room no.22 at the same hotel.I rushed to room no.22 and found my old friend waiting for me.He had left the town years back and I had almost forgotten him.
