I prefer apple, now, but I have used android in the past. I have found that Android phones software doesn't get upgraded like it should, whereas appple is constantly upgrading the software. I have the iPhone 6 plus, and it is a very good phone. Sure I can't costomize the iPhone like I could the android, but apple is much more secure than android, at least that is what I feel anyway. Now that I have an iPhone, I will never go back to android.

I was just reading an article about android's inability to update phones after they have been sold. Seems that they sell them to marketers who then program them with their own programming before they sell them to the consumer so when android is made aware of a vulnerability it makes a patch for it and distributes it to the marketers but they have no way, or no interest in passing it along to the consumer. I guess they figure the phone only lasts for two years anyway so there is no need to worry about bug fixes. Still, it's not really androids fault.

@savak03 I suppse you are right, but i just got tired of dealing with them to update their phones like rhey should. One android phone I had, never did get updated, at least not for me, but once my son got it, it got updated. I just couldn't handle the fact that the manufacureres just don't care enogh to update their sofware. That is why I am with apple, as I am very satisified, as they update thei iPhones a lot.

I love Apple! I have had one for a few years now. I did give Android a try and couldn't get over how glitchy it is!

It does have some glitches but once I learned how to keep my background uncluttered and my memory refreshed that cut down a lot on the glitches. For the ones it still has I just wait it out.

It's been so long since I used any apple product I can't even remember how the operating system works. I have always used windows based computers with the exception of one Mac that was given to me. The operating system was so completely different than windows that I found it hard to do anything on it. I did rent an Ipad once to give it a trial run before I bought one. It wasn't so bad and I probably would have bought it if I could have afforded it. Now though they have other companies that make tablets as well so it is on my list to get as soon as I can afford it. I have an android phone, my first smart phone, and I am getting to like it very well. I keep tweaking it to meet my needs and fit my lifestyle. I was unaware that you could not personalize the Iphone so I am glad that I did not get one. I'm sure my android phone is secure because the first thing I did after setting it up was add a virus protection app.

I personally prefer Android. I also believe that each operation system has its pros and cons. Apple is more simple to understand especially if you have used one before because its layout is usually similar to previous versions. Android on the other hand is a more customizable platform which makes it harder to grasp. I like making my phone personalized which is why I choose android over apple but I can also see why people like apple products.

@Namanjindal13 Definitely, I have never owned an apple product other than my iPad and I am happy with my Android so far. Many of my friends have iPhones and sometimes for what they use it for I don't understand why they didn't get an android device.
