Why Motorola phone go downhill ?

In store i touched Motorola phone-Moto X (2nd Gen.),i found it's touch feeling is very good !I want to buy it immediately !But when i surfer i found there are all kinds of negatives about it .But i did not lose heart,so i move my attention to Moto X style(3rd Gen.).Moto X style has released at July 28 2015,but i can't see it before September 8 in China.I almost pay close attention to it everyday on Web just like I have OCD ! But Why Motorola phone go downhill ?How excellent can it be in industrial design,Motorola phone just go downhill ? I want to own Moto X style,but its price in China maybe above 4200 RMB,in The USA or Britain its price just only 400 $.Why price spread so high?
