Starting Using Emoticons

I usually comment and post discussions using my regular emoticons (like :) and :D) but they don't look pretty here on myLot. I am used to post like that because on facebook, they convert to the beautiful yellow emoticons. And now, I have noticed that comments here on myLot look much more prettier when they have a emoticon.
It won't be easy to change my habits but I will try to... and I will start right now! 
By the way, do you use a lot of emoticons here on myLot?

Yes, you are right that when we work on FB and if we type :), it will automatically get converted in . Here on mylot it does not happen.
I prefer using emoticons as much as I can. I use emoticons with the help of mylot Code. I feel using emoticons helps us communicate our thoughts in a better way. Earlier there used to be a restriction of using only three emoticons, now we could use more than three.

Yes Enough that I have most of them memorized and so I don't have to stop my 'typing-flow' to open the smiley-menu & choose one
And I seem to remember that there are 'a few' secret smileys! Ask @GoAskAlice

I tried that but it came up with nothing but why discussions are removed no matter how many responses there are. I will not be memorizing.

Oh nice, I have to check that out. I don't memorize because I usually just use smiles in the end of my sentences

@fufurinha First I saw a comment that one had to pwrite or interact a certain quantity first and gave up lookin, then found it. I now know its below under 'mylot code'.

Yes i do use them..some of my comments are funny and i want to make sure all know i am kidding and i'm not a serious person..so you will see them in all of my posts or discussions

I know this is a bit old of a discussion but I just saw it Lol
I think conversations do look better with the little emoticons, but I am like you and having a hard time adjusting to it. I wish it would record the easy ones it sometimes takes me a little bit to go through them below o I forget about them all together by accident.

A whole square of emoticons just popped up on Val's page to choose from...dunno how I did it though???? :)
