Is Swagbucks Worth It

Every so often I hear someone sing the praises of Swagbucks. Is it worth the effort?
I must have signed up at some time and went there out of curiosity. I seem to have earned 100 bucks..
Just not sure what for and when and if it is just another time waster?

I use it for a search engine. Surveys are a waste of time.

It doesn't actually take much time, or you could spend a couple of hours on it - it's up to you. If you do the Daily Poll and maybe let a few videos run and use the search, you could come away with 20 or so SB a day. The time invested is almost nothing. If you take another hour to try a few surveys, you could average 100 SB a day. I have redeemed my swagbucks for gift cards at Amazon and Walmart and it's great because I am buying things for no money at all. Last week, I had $30 in Walmart gift cards that I put towards The Boy's school clothes. Honestly, it pays more than any of these writing sites. I know that but still show up here more than there. I need to amend that, but probably won't.

@dashboardc33 I get disqualified for surveys all the time. Most disqualify you right away and then they pay you 1 swagbuck for trying. I had one survey bump me out after a very long process and I wrote to Swagbucks to tell them I thought they made me jump through too many hoops just to be disqualified. They credited me the full amount of swagbucks for the survey. They are really good that way.

I find it worth what little time I spend there. I wouldn't say I put much effort into it, either... like @dashboardc33, I earn with the videos, which don't require any interaction. I set them up to run on my 2-in-1 while I'm doing other things on my desktop computer. All it takes is a few seconds here and there to close a tab when the playlist completes and open a new one.
Every so often I'll get ambitious and go through the offer walls, which can dramatically boost my earnings from the site depending on what's available.

It is reliable. I have put it more on the back burner for the sites that I use but I still visit daily or try to. I am letting mine build up and then I will cash it out when it is a larger amount.

Hi Friend,
I am doing swagbucks since 2 months I have invested more than 200 swagbucks for sweeptakes but I have not won in any sweeptakes. Actually I am from India but now I am in USA for vacations so since 3 days I can do some surveys and earning some swagbucks daily. I do not know if I do swagbucks site from India can I earn watching videos in swagbucks site.

I personally love it there - and it is worth it if you take the time to be there. I have gotten to the point where I multi-task several activities there at the same time WHILE I am writing on sites like this - so the most is made of my time. I do 50-75 minimally a month - so I say it's totally worth it.

I have earned a lot of money in the form of egift cards and I use them at Wal-Mart each week to help with out food budget. To me it is really easy to earn swagbucks.

I use Swagbucks as well, but have not cashed out yet as I have not been putting in a lot of effort. In my opinion, it takes a while to get where you can cash out. Personally, I am trying for the 25 Paypal dollars for 2,500 points and am only about a quarter of the way there after a very long time trying.
