Some Surveys Contain Pretty Weird Questions

A few minutes ago I finished an online survey which luckily was quite nice to complete because it was about a topic that I find really pleasant, and I'm sure many other people do: beer. However, at a certain point during the survey there were a few questions which I found quite strange. It was something like "Do you feel that this brand of beer represents you?", and one another one was "Does this beer make you feel like being yourself?" The second question is quite easy to answer, because people definitely feel and behave like themselves after consuming several cans or bottles of beer, since they become more sincere and talkative in those moments. As for the first one, I couldn't figure out in what sense it could represent me; after all, a beer is just a drink, although it might have a symbolic value of some sorts. It might represent myself if it were made by me at home, otherwise I couldn't identify myself with a liquid! Anyway, my answers in both cases were "no", but eventually such rather weird questions don't bother meas long as I get a reward for filling those surveys. So, did you find such weird, funny or even silly questions in the surveys you filled in throughout the years?

haha I find some survey questions ridiculous, too! And the funny thing is those questions are pretty common in surveys. I answered different surveys having the same questions (but for different brands). So not sure are those standard survey questions?!

I suppose there are some standard questions indeed. I don't think those who create these questions have so little imagination to ask the same questions again and again. Anyway, sometimes filling those surveys is quite a funny experience!

I am glad you brought this up friend. Yes, this morning I had a survey about soda, you know soda pop, carbonated beverages. You had a list to choose what kind you drink with all the usual's on there. But one of the choices was Poison. Yeah right lolz

Oh yes, and some surveys do not consider some of the possibilities. That is weird! They ought to think of those.

They should definitely take into consideration a lot of factors before deciding what questions to include in their surveys i they want to obtain a positive feedback from the users who complete them.

I tried a couple "survey" sites and did not like them AT ALL. Most of the questions were ridiculous and difficult to answer and in fact, too personal. I think that survey sites are an attempt to gather information about individuals and I don't like them.
