The Rat Race

Okie's, I am not talking about any race between rats taking place. I am talking out about the race in which we all are involved.. The rat race. Its the desire to outdo others in which we forget to live our life. These days our life is so hectic as we are just running without taking a pause. Its leading us nowhere...

Luckily Komal, I have never felt that I am in that race.
I did not ever feel the need to outdo because I knew that what I could do was my best.
I was satisfied and still am regarding my blessings in life as just that.
But I do also feel that I am working alongside everyone in the world with a common goal of finding some peace for everyone. Hope we can ever find it.

That's so nice of you. I wish we could have a few more who are not running and are satisfied. Wish people too start looking for peace and not pieces in this world

@KomaltHeCuRious I was raised with the belief that things are just a chain around our neck really, they weight us down Komal. I am glad that I was having that lesson, as to be always ill content must be quite a burden to be envious and always have to be racing..some people make their health worse because of these thoughts.

I am learning to live one day at a time as we are not promised tomorrow or the rest of today. God is in control of the very breath we breathe and He loved us SO much He sent His Son to die on the cross for my sins and yours. He made a way for us to spend eternity with Him. The Bible says in John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that who ever believes in Him will have eternal life. Believe on Him now and talk to Him like you would your best friend He knows everything about you and still loved you. We all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. That is why Jesus had to die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins.
