I love my tv shows

Like Reba, Family Matters, Full House and almost any medical show.. Its mainly because they all deal with real life issues and tell you how to know yourself. When Reba takes in 18 people during a life crisis in which they are lost their homes in a natural disaster. Reba being a good person takes them in not realizing how hard its going to be and gets very stressed over it. But near the end of the show when Ruby (one of the people living there) sends everyone to the park so that her and Reba can talk. She tells Reba hat there is no need to feel bad about feeling the way she does and that they are ALL going home to New Orleans to rebuild their lives and homes. Reba says she wishes things like this came with instructions. Ruby has Reba read these words: "When I was hungry, you gave me something to eat. When I has thirsty, you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger and you invited me in" -I will say right now that I don't push the Bible or religion on anyone because it can mae them not like you or your religion. But I love that how they put that in there and made her day. Or how about Family Matters with the undying love Steve has for Laura. When given two proposals, Laura has to decide if she wants Stephan and a life that she has dreamed of OR the life with someone who has never stopped loving her, cant give her everything except that love. When she is forced to say goodbye to Steve because he is walking away to ensure their happiness, she finally chooses him. I guess it takes something being taken away or someone who is important to walk way to realize what you should have had known you had all along and will lose forever. When he handed her a ring that he held onto for YEARS in hope of having his dream come true, my heart melted. Everyone wants to find that kind of love. Then there is Full House. This show gets to me alot. Like when the family lost their Grandpa from Greece and have to all pull together to hold the family from falling apart. When DJ thought she wasn't pretty and could have killed herself from not eating. Or the time Michelle lost her memory after falling off a horse. Then there is Stephanie who feels unimportant being the middle child or falling for a musician who has a girlfriend... So many life lessons. What do you think of these and what other shows have a good life lesson?

I think all sitcoms, though hilarious, have life lessons. You referred to some old ones - I can add Happy Days and Family Ties to those; but even current shows (well, there aren't a lot of sitcoms around that last these days) like The Big Bang Theory have their life lessons. That is what makes the shows good for the whole family. Heck, Dancing With The Stars can give you some pretty good life lessons. I am a t.v. addict, have been all my life, because with siblings a lot older than me I was left on my own growing up so Barbies and t.v. were my life. I wish I worked in television.

True... But the newer ones will never be as good as some of the old ones. At 27, I still feel like I learn more from Disney than I do anything. =)

Hmmm those seem to be interesting shows. I like Scrubs, a medical show, because it is funny and serious at the same time. Several episodes made me cry but more situations made me laugh. It definitely is great to have shows that provide us with a positive outlook in life. :)

You want something funny to watch? Well you might like them, you might not. I will give you two people to look up on youtube and have you watch them. I will try to find a specific video that caught me. MissFenderr - the cup song.. Nicole Coenen- animal noises Now they both can be funny and serious. Their youtube channels are silly, funny, sensitive and they sometimes talk about being positive, outlook at life and other stuff.. but see if you like them or not..
