I know everyone loves taking pictures, something for reminiscing the beautiful memories we had. It's a reminder that everyone has a place in one's heart. Taking a Family picture can be more fun if you have it in a more creative way,I mean you can choose what do you want to wear, where it must be taken,or having a theme would be nice,It could be like that because simply seeing at it can lift up a persons mood. At home,we have our Family picture one in the living room and one in our own room hanging on the wall.I love to have it seeing those happy smiles in every faces. Do you have one?

Yes, we just took a family photo this week when we went back to our home town. As it was my father-in-law's 70th year old birthday, all his children have gone back home to celebrate his birthday, so we just took a family photo. We also took another photo with just four of us in the family (my husband, my two lovely children and myself). I think this is the first time we took a family photo with my younger daughter. The last time we took family photo was before my little girl was born. It's really lovely to see the photo of the whole family always.

Good to hear that @kaka135 at least you have a remembrance to hold and evidence of how happy you are and you're Family during Father in law's birthday..Family picture is also a bond with each member of the family so I like its nature.

Yes, I have one. However, it was taken some years ago, so it's kind of old.

Maybe this is the right time, if you want to replace it with something new to the eyes. @sacmom

@SIMPLYD I think that's what make us a true Filipino,We give so much importance with our Family, little things counts a lot. This is the first time I've heard a boyfriend is already included in a Family Picture,You do completely treat him as a valid member of the Family.

That is so sweet of you @cloudbooks to have them always wherever you go. I do believe even if it is a picture only,it relieves the stress we have experienced.

@cgalavia This is not very common in our country. We have painting on the walls, but not photos of the family. This is something private that we keep for us in photo albums.

@LadyDuck It's really different from my country here,We can have paintings too but we never forget to have a family picture in some part of the house,If not hang,it must be displayed somewhere in the house like in the living room, most of the time. Now I know.I am learning with you @LadyDuck.Thank you for letting me know.

I have taken family picture of my parents, two brothers and myself. I was five and a half years old at the time. My brothers were three and a half, and two and a half. It was taken at my parents restaurant in Otsego, Michigan back in the spring of 1975. The occassion was for Easter. We were all wearing our Sunday best. We celebrate Easter at the restaurant with other relatives and close friends.

@Keola12 That was a very long years, maybe a new one would do.I like what you said a wearing a Sunday best, everyone is in a cool and pretty dress so that's really the best time to have a Family picture.Maybe,we'll also try that. It seems you have a large happy Family, good to know that.

We do have family pictures. Esp. when my mum is getting closer to 100, we do not miss any chance to take pictures with her each time we are together. Do not be afraid of losing charm compared with before. When looking back in years, you will always look younger than the present. And the pictures will help you recall the time you stay with your family members and friends during travel, and in gettogethers.

@zhuhuifen46 What you did was right having a picture with her because we don't know how long she stays here.your mother is very lucky to stay that long.Yes,having it will bring and remind to what we are at that time, brings back the beautiful memories, joy and happiness.
