I have one, but unfortunately, it doesn't work as it leaks. I haven't been able to get it fixed, as that takes money, so since I live alone, I don't make all that many dishes anyway. I will eventually not even worry about getting it fixed, and just continue to wash them by hand.

@marlina Well, it was new when I bought the house, so I just used it for quite awhile, and then it started leaking, so I stopped using it. I don't mind doing the dishes though, as when the kids were younger, I didn't have one then, and I had to wash them everyday, so I am used to it now.

Yes, I have a dishwasher. My teenagers. Lmao. Otherwise, no I do not have one. I had one. But they never seem to clean as well as you can do it yourself. So, I sold it and never thought of getting another.

@marlina Lmao, yes they do. Especially when they are real mouthy and only seem to care what they want. I will teach them to have manners some how.

This is one item that I have never owned and never really been interested in. It is not much hassle washing plates etcetera, especially since I live alone. In fact, a dishwasher would be more trouble than washing up at times because the dishwasher would require cleaning.

I am the dishwasher in the house.
I never saw the thrill in having a dishwasher ... well, that isn't exactly true. I thought it would be fantastic to have one until I visited a friend's house where there was one. They had to basically wash the dishes (scrape and rinse them, anyway) before putting them in the dishwasher. Once I saw that I thought "why bother"? If you are going to go that far and put that much effort in just so the dishwasher will properly get the dishes clean, then you might as well do the entire job yourself.
