I am New to MyLot - Any Help would be much Appreciated...

Ever since the demise of Squidoo and even more so BubbleWs, I've been looking for a new platform to share my thoughts and feelings and to connect with fellow writers who are seeking for new ways of earning that extra buck. I truly feel, well it's been just one day so far, that MyLot is on the right track. Although, I am still experiencing some hiccups, as I am not sure as to how the website and earning actually work. I have a couple of question and I would really appreciate your input on them... 1. How do you actually earn money on MyLot? 2. How much is each "comment" and/or "like" worth? 3. How many discussions can you open each day? Thank you!

It is like the others have said, is that you need to interact with them so it helps you both earn, as when you comment back to someone who commented to you, then you will earn, and so will the person that commented to you. That is how the interaction works. It keeps the discussions lively and they can get quite lengthy as well, but then that is good, as it shows there is a lot of activity on the discussion.

@LiamLeath There wasn't this much interaction in the old mylot as our earnings dpended on what we did and not what others did. I like it this way thoudh, as it forces us to be interactive if we want to earn.

Yes, you are absolutely right, nowadays online earnings is far more about interaction and media promotion than just posting articles.

Bubblews is still around, I just wrote a piece there ..... but as for how much one can make is concerned then just read the help section and you'll probably get the answers you need there.

@LiamLeath sorta, they really got ripped in 2013 because they didn't know what they were doin now it seems they've restructured and made it more realistic for themselves, actually it makes sense, you can't pay out that much if you don't receive that much.

Yeah I know, but Bubblews is just a shell of what it was in the past.

@LiamLeath,Mylot is a site where we interact with each other and get paid for it.The more you interact the more will you earn.I can't say how much we are paid for a comment or a like, but interaction is the key to a fruitful participation here.So far as I know, you may start as many discussions as possible in a day.I would like to suggest you to visit @owlwing's blog. There you will get correct answers to all your questions.

Glad to read this post! I am new here too and not really sure what to expect in terms of earnings. So I guess we just have to keep posting and interacting - and of course, have fun along the way!

Hi Liam, welcome to mylot, all necessary information has already been given by Some Guy...The only thing that is required here is interaction, the more you do that , the more people will respond back , so in effect it is mutual interaction that brings in earnings to all..

Hi Liam! I am an old member of mylot and just came back today. This has been proven as a legit site and that is evident from a big numbers of mylot members here. Actually, we earned here depending on the quality of our postings here. I think we earn more by posting our own topics rather than just commenting on the post.Once, the topics that you opened received a lot of quality feedback then you can gain more earnings. And I think there is no limit in posting and commenting. Just do not forget to follow the guidelines. Be friendly to all other members and don't be shy to ask questions. Happy mylotting!

I think @PhredWreck already told you whatever is required. I will give all 3 answers to your questions in other words 1. How do you actually earn money on MyLot? - By participate, ie comment in discussion qulaity and quantity counts 2. How much is each "comment" and/or "like" worth? Might be like is related to earning because Previously + was a way to earn higher rating. However it is not clear about Like now. 3. How many discussions can you open each day? No limit, but earning is not about opening a discussion, you have to participate in it, reply in your discussion.

Welcome! a good way to get started is using the follow feature. Follow interesting people and respond to their discussions, the more you follow the more people will eventually follow you and your posts will have a larger audience

I am new here, but I have read that we earn for "interacting", not only for writing. The amount is unknown.
