Playing with the credit card

The Child is sitting downstairs, laptop in front of her and clutching MY credit card. She's booking the most tortuous of journeys for both herself and for her aged parents. She's off to Toronto, then Vancouver followed by a trip down to Birmingham Alabama, then home to London. The Boss and I are going to NYC, then Birmingham and then I go on to Dallas, whilst the girls fly home from Birmingham. I shall fly home from Dallas once I have visited with my two 'sisters' and caused them as much trouble as I can. No doubt I shall return with smacked legs...if I'm lucky!
I wonder if I shall be able to reclaim my card soon and whether there's any money left on it?

Enjoy your trip and have a safe one. Money isn't as important as seeing family :).

From the sound of it, there'll be precious little left on your card. Maybe enough for a cup of tea.
I hope that you have a good trip and behave yourself! Don't forget to help @1wldngl to wash up and maybe she'll knock you up in the morning before you catch your plane home!

I am wondering if the money you are paying for these trips exceed my last financial year income (chances are they are :D).
Yeah You mentioned credit cards and it reminded me on how Natwest pissed me off with a student credit card I was trying to open with them. They pretty much said that the rent is considered for both me and the wife in full, despite both of us having an income - it would make sense to me for them to consider just half of it - which would have qualified me for the card - no money for a librarian I suppose - I probably need a better (McDonald's ) job to get a credit card nowadays

Give thanks that you only have one child - I have four. Let her play with it - don't be a spoil sport!
