What hair products do you use?

I use a product that helps to control frizziness. As the older I get, the more my hair tends to become frizzy. I use a shampoo called "Garnier Fructis" in the green bottle. I also use a gel to help control frizziness when I leave the house.
Do you know of other ways to help control frizziness?

I don't have those kinds of problems but I used to have super thin straight hair before I began using things like baking soda and vinegar instead of shampoo, come to find out that a lot of the ingredients in commercial hair products caused that problem ..... switching to natural products won't give you instant results, it usually takes time but I like the results I've gotten, I now have wavy hair, go figure.

I wouldn't use baking soda as that is actually going to, over time, dry out your hair. Using a good conditioner is really important especially if you are using a baking soda vinegar shampoo (coconut oil is a good moisturizer)

@linlifeandlivin if you don't overdo the baking soda you'd be fine, I don't wash my hair everyday and when I do it's usually 1 part soda to 4 parts water, as for the rinse which I use most often it too is diluted.

@rebelann That is true if you don't overdo it it's usually fine I've seen a lot of people who do to much though and it hurts my heart ;) diluting it is good :D

I wish they had things like hair straighteners on the market when I was young. My hair is very frizzy when the weather is humid. I learned two things: 1. Hair that is really well moisturized can't absorb more moisture when the air is humid; and 2. A good flat iron will smooth out frizzy hair better than any topical conditioner. I would use a leave-in conditioner and a hot flat iron and see if that helps.

My daughter uses a flat iron to do her hair. I will have her do my hair one day. See if it helps. She has been wanting to do that for awhile.

I'm a licensed cosmetologist and have used many different products coconut oil could help. I like Paul Mitchells Super Skinny serum, I personally use that and renewing Argan oil of morocco :D the Super skinny actually helps dry your hair faster and puts protein back into it helping control the frizz. you can use either on dry or wet hair. :D hope this helped

@linlifeandlivin I have a daughter and she loves trying new products out to. So, it is a win win if one doesn't like, the other does. It doesn't go to waste.
