My neighbor caught me taking pictures of my flowers. Feel like such an idiot I feel like I'm sneaking around looking over my shoulder. As if I was invading their property My neighbors get to see my booty in the air while I'm bent over taking pictures of my flowers and plants At least i'm not nekkid

LOL, try not to wear a too short dress while taking the pictures or your neighbor will look at you every time.

When you found out they were there, did you shake that booty? I am sure once they saw the camera, all became clear. I am sure people think I take pictures of weird things. But, I take goofy pictures and post them on one of my blogs. You should share some of your flower photos.

I walk around with my camera a lot.. I don't feel embarrassed at all. In fact I used to take pictures of birds one season.. and people used to see me walk with cardboard boxes on my head.. I couldn't care less ..I wanted the pictures of those shy birds at any cost.. I don't mind looking like a fool.

@Rosekitty Yeah certain neighbors bother me when they stare to. I tend to stare back and wave. Where they have to acknowledge me.

This picture in fact!
Even 13 years ago I couldn't bend too far down. I have a great picture of Taj as a kitten walking through a big bowl of food. I took that holding the camera around my knees.

Nothing wrong with photographing flowers, booty up to not! I have taken some lovely photos (in my own estimation anyway) of flowers and don't care who might have seem me! "Photograph and be d*mned" as the Duke of Wellington might have said.

@Rosekitty Now, you never struck me as the type to care about what someone else thought of you. But I guess I could understand the uneasy feeling you might have gotten, like you were doing something wrong. ah ok, will wait for them.

Can't be worse than the time I found the giant spider in the pile of cut branches on the curb, started taking pictures, and had a friend of the homeowner freak out about the fact that I was there and call the local police. The best thing is that I was on public property (the street/sidewalk) and so was the pile of branches. Nope, nothing criminal about taking pictures of a spider on public property. Oh, and the icing on the cake was that the responding officer was a photographer and gave me some really good tips on making the most of my mother-in-law's not-so-great bridge camera. Worked out really well for me! I'm just sad we don't have those critters here in Arizona. My techniques and my kit have improved a lot in the last five years.
