My daughter , my husband and two of my sisters said I am clumsy . I have accidentally dropped a bottle of cooking oil , as I was trying to pour some into the pan days ago .
The other week , my finger accidentally was inserted into the electric fan I have hurriedly tried to reposition . My finger was cut by the plastic blade of the fan and it bled a lot .
Luckily , it’s now healed .
On that same day , when I went to get something in my daughter’s double decker , when I stood up my head hit the upper deck !
I hate that morning ! Gosh , I think I am really clumsy !
Or can I say , haste make waste ?

Please do not consider yourself clumsy. Even if your family members say that you are clumsy, you should ignore their remarks. We are human beings and we tend to commit mistakes and many a times mistakes occur unintentionally.
It happens with everyone, so take it easy and no need to feel guilty on this account. Your family members also commit mistakes, I am sure, therefore, they should not be judgmental about you.

Ouch ! That is so painful , though not funny to me .
You know since that incident of my finger cut by the plastic blade of the electric fan i tried not to be in a rush in doing things . I do them a bit slower now , so accidents will not happen .

It does pay (hello @dpk262006 how are you?) to go slow.
I have these really sharp knifes I use often that just get sent into the sink with all the other dishes. My hands go in the water carefully plus the temperature on the hot water tap when I first moved in was too hot, boiling almost. You don't forget. Once bit twice shy.

Yes when one is hurried these things can happen in an instant.
I have days like that and I try to be very careful as even if it is funny, we can really hurt ourselves like this.
Be careful friend lolz Glad u r fine.

I used to be clumsy like that until I started taking dance lessons. You wouldn't believe have my balance has improved and whenever I start to tumble, I automatically move through it like a dance step. Not that I don't have falls. I fell the second day of school and still have the bruise on my knee to prove it, but I am so much better than before.

@SIMPLYD Yeah, thinking twice helps, but if you are in the middle of a fall, it would be nice to have something kick in to prevent or make the fall less painful. lol

Well if you're rushing to do things or get things done, then slow down. If you're still clumsy moving in slow motion then you need to get to bottom of what's causing it. It could be nothing. It could be something. As you get older, your "insides" start breaking down. You might be losing your balance or something!

Glad you weren't seriously injured! I've had my share of clumsy moments too although not too often. Not sure if I qualify as a clumsy person or not.

@cahaya1983 Hmm , how can you be clumsy when you are so much concentrated in what you are doing . I suppose , it could really be called clumsiness in the real sense of the word .

@SIMPLYD Ironically sometimes the silliest things happen to me when I'm fully concentrating on that thing I do too.

I tend to be clumsy because of my bad leg, and other health issues. I drop things alot because my wrist will seize up. The other day I dropped a glass dish that had apple crisp in. It shattered. i lost everything and had to re-start after cleaning my mess up.

What is not so nice about it when these things happen is the cleaning up of the mess such as that .

I always think I am clumsy too, well, my husband said that too. But, the reason he thinks I am clumsy is because he said I didn't pay attention. If we always pay attention, be conscious on what we are doing, then we will not be clumsy. I do agree with him, as I learn and try to "live in the moment", be conscious at every moment, things seem to change.
Perhaps you can try that too.

Actually that's true . Sometimes we do thing automatically , not even paying attenion that's why these happens . But for my case , it's always because i am in a hurry to do things to finish at a short time . And these things happens instead .

I am clumsy! I freely admit it. My husband is reminding me constantly of how clumsy I am. Our five year old has a bit of a clumsy streak as well and he tells him that it comes from my side of the family and not his.

Just like me , my clumsiness comes from the side of my father as my cousins attested they also are clumsy .
Today , my back ankle got rubbed on the screen doors lower part and it hurts until now. Such clumsiness of mine again !

Thank goodness you were not seriously hurt. I think that maybe the accidents happen when you are distracted as too much is on your mind?

I am so not going to call you clumsy. I mean, I really can't put that tag on anyone else but myself, particularly when I remember that -
1. I fell asleep in the car and hit my head on the window at every bump of the road. And there were lots of bumps. And I kept on falling asleep. And hit my head on the spot every time.
2. I hit a chair while entering my classroom. I hit it again while leaving the room for reccess. And again while reentering. And yet again while leaving for home.
3. Need I mention more of my terrible day?

Unlucky day you have there . Yes , i am in denial sometimes that i am clumsy . It's just that i do things hurriedly always .
So be careful , when entering your classroom , take it slowly and watch out for those chairs.
