Russia has a larger surface area than Pluto? / myLot

I was just thinking when i came across this fact that Russia has more surface area then pluto and i was like reall thinking if its really even truth

Says who? If Pluto is the same surface area as Russia then that makes Pluto really small. Maybe you need to research some more to find out the facts.

I have controlled, and it is quite true. Surface area of Russia according to Wikipedia : 17,125,187 km2 Diameter of Pluto according to Wikipedia : 2370 km2. The surface area is 4 pi R squared = 17,645,997 km2 Russia has less surface than Pluto, but the old USSR was larger (22,402,200 km2 in 1991).
