Says who? If Pluto is the same surface area as Russia then that makes Pluto really small. Maybe you need to research some more to find out the facts.

I have controlled, and it is quite true.
Surface area of Russia according to Wikipedia : 17,125,187 km2
Diameter of Pluto according to Wikipedia : 2370 km2. The surface area is 4 pi R squared = 17,645,997 km2
Russia has less surface than Pluto, but the old USSR was larger (22,402,200 km2 in 1991).
