We don't tend to go out to the movies that often anymore, either, since we had our daughter. We subscribe to Netflix, and sometimes when we're in town we might rent Redbox for the night and have movie night in, and that works really well.
I would say the best movie I've seen in 2015 is definitely "Kingsman: The Secret Service" hands down. Colin Firth playing a badass spy in a suit? Yes, please. Love Mark Strong and Samuel L. Jackson, too. The movie was an incredible spoof of classic spy movies, full of action, and just funny. I can't even count how many times I've watched it now...
"Avengers: Age of Ultron" was also really good. I was anxious to see how they'd tackle it, but I thought they did really well and it turned out to be an interesting movie. Not as good as the first, I don't think, but definitely something I'd re-watch.
Oh, and as far as family-friendly movies, I just love "Home". I wanted to see it because Jim Parsons was one of the voice actors, and his character proved to be every bit as interesting as I figured it would be. It was a lovely movie, and my daughter really enjoyed it, too.

I have never heard of Kingsman. I might have to check that out sometime. Avengers, I know many friends saw it. I just haven't been motivated to see yet another super hero movie. We tried to see Home but didn't get a chance. Saw Minions and it was pretty good, not great.
