When I sit in my room watching and enjoying torrential downpour outside through my window, when I come back home extremely tired after working hard for hours on a hot summer noon and when at a cold winter night lying on my bed I cover myself with a warm blanket,I remember my father and grandfather.
It was my grandfather who had migrated here from north India and began a small business to make both ends meet.Later on my father was born here.He started another business. Both father and son lived a very simple life to save money. For years they went on saving their hard earned money and then with his own earnings and my grandfather's savings my father got a house built here.
Now we live in that house. We now don't have to live in a rented house.
While typing these words if I am now enjoying rain outside,it's the blessings from my grandfather and my father.

Exactly, dear @SIMPLYD,I am not only fortunate, but also blessed, blessed by them.Whenever I see people coming here seeking jobs and running from pillar to post to have a roof over their heads,my heart gets filled with gratitude for my parents and grandparents. We are reaping fruits of their labour.
