I will do any kind of puzzle that I can, as I have puzzle books, that I do, and also, I have puzzles on my iPhone and ipad, so I can do them when I am waiting during an appointment. I do most of the puzzles on my iPhone, since I takei it with me, anywhere I go, and it is so convenient. I do word searches mostly as those are my favorite. I can spend hours doing them. I like the fact that I have to use my brain as we all need to do that a time or two. I will sometismes do puzzles on my iPhone, when I can't sleep.

Oh yes, I like puzzles. Crossword puzzles, word search, but I have to say my favorite kind of puzzle is jigsaw puzzle. I love especially love doing jigsaw puzzles in the winter time, when I can stay indoors, set up a card table in front of the fireplace and just relax and work the puzzle.

I buy the jigsaw puzzles that have 1000 pieces, and a couple Ihave have 2000. That is a lot of pieces, but the more pieces it has the more challenging it is. I will work on the Lord's Supper jigsaw puzzle that I started a couple of winters ago.I bought a mat to keep it in, so the pieces stay put, I think, anyway.

@TexanTornado I have a cupboard in my garage full of jigsaw puzzles. They are all 1000 piece or more. I don't like the small ones either, as they just aren't challenging enough.

@rosekiss Oh most definitely it can't be under 1000 pieces and it has to be a challenge or I would get bored. Oh I bet The Last Supper one is pretty. I actually have to go buy some more.

I like them really large jigsaw puzzles! I like finding which piece fits where. I used to do a lot of them as a kid. And I also had my biggest childhood outburst because of one puzzle. The hell wouldn't I when I was about to finish it after days and days of putting it together only to find it gone one day because someone's maid was told to clean it up. WTF right?
After that I think I never did another puzzle again.

@rosekiss Yeah I will buy a big one in the future and when I'm done I'm gonna have it framed! It's probably gonna be like a "Hah! Take that!" moment.

I haven't done puzzles for awhile either, but when I do them, I can forget about the time, as it just seems to get away from me. I just haven't taken the time to do them lately, as I have other things to be concerned about more than doing puzzles.

I keep one in my car too, so when I have to wait to get the dogs groomed, I can do the puzzles, and it makes the time go so much faster that way, and gives me something to do.

No, not really. I just don't have the patience to do them. I do love to do those search words things though. My dad used to do them all the time.

@AbbyGreenhill You are lucky in that as mine were bad, as I couldn't even see with my glasses. Now, Ijust wear glasses to read and that is all. It is like looking at the world through roser colored glasses.

I got a jigsaw puzzle for Christmas and am looking forward to doing it. I haven't done a puzzle in years and need something that's fun and relaxing. I don't do crossword puzzles or word game ones.

That is cool that you got a jigsaw puzzle for Christmas. I love jigsaw puzzles. I do have a mat that I can put it in, so that I won't lose any of the pieces, and it won't fall apart. I had started the Lord's Supper puzzle, and it is huge, so it will take me time to put it together. I have to use the kitchen table to do it as I don't have a card table to put it on.

They are lots of fun, and I can sit and do them for hours. I do lots of word search puzzles mostly, as they are the easiest ones to do, and to me, the most fun too.

Depends on the puzzle. I like crosswords and Suduko, but not word searches or other puzzles that just take time but not much brain-power

I can understand that too, as they take a lot of pateince and time, and if you have neither than I guess you wouldn't be doing them. I sppose there will come a day, when I won't want to do them anymore either.

I have done that too, when I had to wait for something. It does pass the time, and gives me something to do while I am waiting.

I like Crossword Puzzles, Sudoku and that thing where they give you a word and you have a limited amount of time to find all the other four letter or more words within that word These three puzzles make train rides and office waiting rooms a hell of a lot easier to take.

I think what you are taling about is Anagrams. I haven't done those all that much, as I like word search the most. I do a lot of those and some are more challenging than others. I like the ones where I have to find the word from the letters left that haven't been used.
