I don't exactly have a me time everyday, but I spend time mediating and praying. I have a weekly one hour which may or may not happen for some personal grooming.
My gardening time is my me time. its relaxing time for me. I hardly ever go out with friends its always family time as far as i am concerned.
How about you do you have a rigid me time?

@sofssu Indeed all those activities that I do involve others and doing for others gives me happiness and so I consider it me time.

I would get so stressed if I don't have my "me time" every day. It's usually when the kids ate asleep or napping, though. That's the time when I can just relax and unwind or read books.

@cahaya1983 With small kids.. That is a much needed outlet.. or you might lose your patience with them.

Sounds nice that you can have a few hours of me time when they're at school. I have a toddler at home so it's basically impossible to have my me time during the day until she naps

Yes, that I do. It's my 45 minute nightly soak in a nice hot bubble bath. I pity the person who would interrupt it.

@sofssu Yes, that's it exactly. It's not at all due to me being lazy. No way! Actually, I take a book with me, and while soaking I read. It's my time, so I make the most of it.

I think "me time" is very important, especially when you're always around people, so we try to have a bit of me time every day, even if it's just 20 minutes. I'll get my time while hubby does something alone with our daughter, and then we'll swap. It works out nicely and keeps us both sane! Sometimes it's just something as simple as me taking a long walk, but it's still nice to just get away from everyone for a few minutes and be alone with my own thoughts. :)

@sofssu That's awesome, and that's a great way to spend time together! Hubby does a lot of moving during his job, so he doesn't like to go for walks with me, but we find other ways to spend time during the evening, even if it's just watching TV for half an hour or playing a game together or something.

I do agree.. You need some me time if you are around people all the time. Even loved ones. I generally go for a walk with hubby.. it is our time together,. sometimes it may be the only time we get together on certain days.. so its 45 minutes of our time. I enjoy those times very much.

Yes, i also have a me time everyday . That's when i pray , when i arrive home and just be at the bedroom relaxing and watching TV while hubby is still out in the dining room area doing some surfing on the desktop. And usually on payday , i really have a "me" time by going to the mall and buying anything that can make me happy - mostly foods .

I have "me time" quite a lot. Trust me when I say it is for the benefit of others, rather than for myself. No, but seriously, If I don't have time to myself then I can't acclimate to my tasks.

I sort of have a me time every day in as much as last thing at night and first thing in the morning... but I also have very flexible periods or snatches of me time during some days too... where I walk the dog, or go out taking photos with my camera... or make jewelry ....
