Work meeting...are they productive

I have about 3 meetings a week on average at my job. Usually 2 out of the 3 seem wasted and un-useful. What do you think about meetings? Are they usually productive or a waste of time?

Meetings are rarely productive. These wasted hours could be better utilized in meeting targets especially if we are in sales where every second/call/response counts.
