Words like cool,awesome,no worries,awesome,hot or flat foot. if you know the meaning of each of these words then lesson has already been learned..if not go ahead and ask..that is what i am here for!!

What's flat foot..?? I mean I read it in my schooltime in my subject of physical education that its a disability having no harm and curable in its early stagesAnd also I would be glad to learn even more american slang than written above from you as being a non- american i am hardly aware of it.

@Ishani08...Flatfoot is a term used for a Police person....hardly ever used now but it was back in the 1940-50's cause they would walk the beat..or walk mainly blocks after blocks..so they got flat feet What words do you want helped with?

Rose, I think I am fine with my American English, but I bet there are plenty of British slang that I don't know and some that I may have not even ever heard of. Not sure how good you are with them lot.

@Rosekitty here is one: Cheerio - Not a breakfast cereal. Just a friendly way of saying goodbye. Or in the north "tara" which is pronounced sort of like "churar".

I know what these words mean. These are old time slang words actually. They have a whole new language now. and some words morphed through the years also to mean other things.
