posting vs responding

I think that you should spend about 60..70 percent of the time responding to others (because most likely they will respond back at some point) and 30..40 percent of the time posting and thinking about creating interesting content that will generate traffic/discussions. This is just my opinion

Get a balance between the two ideally. Your discussions don't have to be long or detailed like full length blogs. Just enough to get people talking and thinking.
