How Do You Do Your myLot?

I was just curious if there is a better, easier or faster way to do myLot than the way I am doing it. Here is what I have been doing every morning:
1. Check my discussions to see if I need to reply to any comments.
2. Visit everyone who has visited me.
3. Go through Suggestions
4. Notification ( I delete all likes, mentions. I delete any comments on my discussions that are not recent since I have already checked it first)
5. If I have time after that, I go to Explore and check people I am following to make sure I have read their most recent discussions. I also read discussions from people I am not following.
Have I left anything out? How do you do your myLot? It seems like it is a lot to do, which I don't mind at all but I was wondering if there is an easier way.

I generally respond to the people that I know that they will respond back to me. But not always, just generally. I mean, there are times when I also respond to people that I don't know for sure if they will respond back

Pretty much what I do. I just check in on my notifications and check out the people I know are active on my discussions and see what they posted. The explore most recent discussions and join in on a few if they interest me. I'll add a new discussion a couple of times a day especially if it's been slow and try to get some activity going.

I am doing it in a different order, I check all notifications first, reply to comments on my discussions or on others, then go through the suggestions. After that I go to the new discussions, and finally check if I've missed discussions from the people I follow.
I usually don't have time to do more. If there is time left, I will go through older discussions from previous days.
I don't clear the notifications because I think it's wasted time but maybe I should start doing that.

@cahaya1983 I thought about it and decided to delete them as well. Now the notification page doesn't look that messy!

At first I ignored the past notifications too but then it started to become so overwhelming and confusing so I make it a habit to clear them as soon as I read them.

You don't delete your notifications? Oh wow, you must have pages and pages of them, that I find to be a clutter.

@sofssu Hmmm ok. I didn't know that. Interesting to know, but I still think it would drive me crazy. Ok, crazier than what I already am.

@TexanTornado Not really, there is a limit of 600+ notifications and if you don't delete them they seem to get deleted automatically. I used to delete earlier.. now after seeing this happen I don't bother with it.

I go through my notifications the first thing, as that is where I can see who responded or commented to my discusssions, so that I can comment back. I also check the suggestted ones, which in most cases, don't interest me, or I have already responded to. After that I will go to the people and explore tab and see what new discussions there are that I can respond to.

@simone10 That is true too. I just prefer to do the notifications first, and when I do them, I will make sure that I do all the comments for each discussion, so I don't have to go back and forth. Sometsimes I do miss them though, and I have to go back and do them.

First I answer all the suggestions I have from friends.
First and foremost.
Then I go on to answer all the notifications I receive.

@simone10 Yes I do the discussions that my friends have suggested to me. I wish I had more of those..not many people can be bothered to suggest.

I was going to add this to a post today, but I guess I will share it here. I am able to use MyLot unlike Bubblews or persona, in a way that is most efficient for me.
First I go to my inbox and I open only the posts my friends had started , that way if I don't have time to view the comments on my posts, I feel good that I am able to reply back to my friends.
Second, I open the e-mails with my posts and reply to my friends there. The next step is connected to this because I always visit whoever commented on my post and I find a post, that member's have replied on mine, to comment on.
Third, I check my notifications (which at this time is 104, so I doubt I will get that far today)
Next, (and this will be a rare step since I have so many notifications) I visit my friend's who I haven't seen around and comment on one of their post.
Lastly, and this will be even more rare, I visit posts with no response or new members.

@simone10 The e-mail I used to sign up, I get notified when someone comments on my post or replies to my comment. It takes me directly to the post.

@Carmelanirel2 Oh, I get those too but just delete them as I work from my discussions and notifications.

I'm not sure about the easiest way, but I usually start with managing my notifications and cleaning them up when I'm done checking/replying/responding. Then I will check the Explore page and participate in whatever discussions I find interesting. em]happy[/em]

@simone10 That does make sense. Plus it saves you the hassle of opening too many tabs at one time, I think.

First thing I do is respond to all emails I get from Mylot. Those are replies and suggestions. I try to visit anyone back who has left a comment. Once I reply to all comments on a page. After i do that. I will select the explore option and go from there.

I am doing myLot and everything else on a hit and run basis. I tend now to use suggestions to get me going. I look at any discussions I have written and reply. I try to go to the profiles of people who have commented on my discussions as well. I write one or two discussions daily.

I'm so sorry but your comment didn't show on my notifications.
I have recently found out that not all comments/responses show up on my notifications. I don't know why. So, I'm having to go back over my past discussions to make sure I have replied to all comments.

We have almost the same methods. But usually I don't check my discussion because I could find a notification about my discussion on notification itselfs

@simone10 Yes, true. Actually it's the same, you just can choose which one that makes you feeling comfort to do it and work best at you

Regarding #4 go to settings and eliminate a lot of notifications that you don't need.
I, basically, just go to my discussions and read plus reply to any comments and then will go to their latest discussion and comment to them.
