"...and thence people of the middle-east migrated to the west."

Personally, I'm impressed with the persistence and endurance of the people from the middle-east as a whole on their journey to "The Promise Land" ...er... I mean Germany. Yeah, wasn't there another time in history a mass of people migrated to another land when things got unpleasant? How about the Biblical, Jacob and his people when there was a famine in the land of Canaan when they migrated to Egypt? There are two stories that came from this, one was the Israelite people farmed the Egyptian lands and produced good product for the king and the other they were made slaves to build the pyramids. Now I don't know how much truth there is to the Israelite people being slaves to Ramses, but I doubt that will be happening to the Syrians and the others fleeing the conflict in their land. Then of course, comes the stories about Moses and the people returning to the "Promise Land". Okay, for obvious reasons what is happening now could possibly change major world events, but what? Will this lead to the superpower countries getting off their asses and fighting the trouble-makers in the middle-east, so the people can return where they came from? Will this be the merging of Christian and Islamic religions to make one Super religion about the same damn thing? Maybe it will lead to nothing and once the unrest settles down the people will return home? What do you think?

I have a very big idea about this huge world event. I feel the tide is turning in a big way, and lots of people do not know the full catastrophic effect of this as of yet. There is a source that the people are having to run from. That source is the world changing event. I am probably not making much sense, but I am trying to. I do not have a good feeling about all this. I also think that you Unky Greggy are a very wise man and am sensing it too.

All they really want to do is return home but for some reason they keep moving in the wrong direction

The problem with home is it is unlivable at the moment. I'm sure any of us would do the same if screwballs are going around beheading any and everybody.

I think they won't get off their butts. But, they will join to form a new world order. Christians will not join islam. At least this Christian would rather die than convert to islam. Many believe Catholicism will join islam. But true Christ followers will never submit to islam or any other false religion.
