I am having a yard sale in another town with @marsha32 and I cleared out some stuff, that makes me happy. It makes my wallet happy as well.
It was hot, we sat in the shade, I bought us cold drinks.
Mostly I do not have yard sales as I had just as soon donate, but this is fun and I am making a little money.
Do you hold yard sales, tag sales or rummage sales or garage sales? Do you shop at them?
Y'all be sure to come see us tomorrow.

When I shop at yard sales and thrift shops I feel wealthy because I can get a lot for my money.

I like to buy craft and sewing things. I need to make some of it into something.

Wish I could do a yard sale haha but I cant.
I would be visiting yours for sure.
Especially in KS, I loved the yard sales just to look around.
There was always neat stuff.

Sometimes it is fun to just go look and to shop around for ideas to do at home.

I have seen a lot of yard sales around here lately. Hardly any throughout the summer though. I don't do the yard selling scene myself, but my uncle has in the past. I know you can get a lot of good stuff.

It was a good time to visit with Marsha, and I got some things out of my house. I have bought things at sales, and I should sell more things.

What do you do with your unwanted stuff instead?

@GardenGerty Now, all the stuff it is stored on the mezzanine in the garage. It would be great to clean the area.

Sadly, it's going to be just as hot tomorrow too. I put out some pictures that I forgot to put out.
Liz is off now supposedly getting things for the sale.
I finished the sign and will run and put it on the corner on Monroe street early.
Finishing what I can online, but hoping to get in bed as soon as Steve gets up for work.

The majority of my stuff isn't really good enough to resell. I buy stuff used mostly, and use it until it's trash. Many of our clothes and shoes are still useable, but so used up that I'd rather donate it than sell it.
I'd only be able to do a yard sale if I could do it along with someone else, like you're doing, because I don't have enough stuff on my own to make it worth while.
It's a really good time for you to have a yard sale since you're moving and all. Bet you found a lot of great stuff to sell.

I have not been through everything, but my bigger stuff sold. I will be doing a salvage and yard sale in three weeks as well. I know someone who wants to buy the plumbing fixtures, etc.

We do have thrift shops and second hand stores. And people buy stuff then resell it again at flea markets.

It is more worth it for me to go where @marsha32 lives than at my own place
