I live near the Wetlands Management area which preserves American's fish, wildlife and plants.
Where I am they have been actively involved in the Trumpeter Swan Recovery Program they were endangered but not any longer. We also have lots of ducks and bald eagles.
Also we have rock outcroppings and are trying to restore the tallgrass prairie. There are a lot of prairie potholes where waterfowl can feed.
We have numerous places to fish in the area and we see lots of deer, wild turkeys, prairie dogs, bunny rabbits and all kind of animals.

@buttheadface932 I am in Minnesota near the Iowa border in a small farming town although I am not a farmer nor do I live on a farm. The wildlife is abundant around here.

Not many people have heard of this town even though it is the county seat of this county and there are like 6 towns I believe with a Total Population of all the towns at 12,000 people so it is very small. We live in the country and have fields near us with the closest neighbor being about one mile away. This town the county seat only has 4500 people but they have had a hotel that is building here and also a company bought an abandoned restaurant and they will be redecorating it and opening it up. They are trying to attract more businesses to the area and are going to have some new housing coming soon.

It is interesting to hear that you live near Wetlands which preserves fish, animals and flora and fauna. We don't get to see swans or ducks in our area. Eagles have slowly perished because cities have become like concrete jungle and greenery is no longer there. High trees are numbered, where eagle generally visit.
I understand that tall grass prairie presents a beautiful view around you. You are lucky that you get to see lots of animals in your vicinity.

It is awesome as we see all kinds of wildlife in this area. We try to take photos when we can like the other day a wild turkey was walking in the road but by the time I got my camera ready to take the photo he was in tall grass and you could hardly see him in the photo.
