I am sorry to hear it. It is very severe condition.
I do not think I have insomnia very badly. But I do have terrible sleep disturbances.
Thus, I never sleep a full night, unless I take some medicine.

I am sorry to hear that you cannot sleep peacefully at night. I think sleep patterns differ from person to person.
You have not mentioned whether you cannot sleep throughout the night or you sleep in phases? If you get sleep in phases, that is okay, because many of us do not get continuous sleep. I also sleep in phases and in between I remain awake from 15 minutes to half an hour.
If you use your mobile or laptop/PC before sleep, then it could cause problems. Use of mobile phones and computers and watching TV, keep our mind active and our mind cannot go into a peaceful mood so as to feel that we are sleeping.
It is better to read something before you go to sleep or you could listen to some soft music, if possible. You could also try soaking your feet in lukewarm water in a bucket or tub before you go to sleep.
Also, getting up early and indulging in physical activities like walking, running, cycling or doing some light exercise will help induce sleep.
All the best.

@KomaltHeCuRious - It means you use laptops during night?
