Many superheroes have joined myLot. We have @Superman, @Spiderman, @Elektra, @Batman among our regular members. We have even a plagiarized superhero (it is ironic !) @Superboy.
Actually, @Superman is occupied to fight against @Doomsday in Metropolis, @Batman to fight against @TheJoker in Gotham City, but our local superhero GoAskAlice does not need help to fight evil people at myLot City, and @LoisLane and @ClarkKent have no news for the Daily Planet.
I was enjoying to read superhero comics when I was a kid. What about you ? Have you joined a site with a superhero username ? Have you a superhero among your friends at myLot ?

You've clearly been doing some 'e-Archaeology' @topffer!
No, I don't think I count any of the ones you mention among my friends or contacts. One which, I suppose, would be to my taste would be @SuperbOwl ... but then, with just a slight change in capitalisation, it might, after all, be someone who is only keen on baseball, which interests me hardly at all!

I need to dig, it is probably an occupational oddity. I dug a bit to find them, they are not active since 8 or 9 years. I have not dug enough. I should have thought that an owl would look for an owlish superhero and a lamb for a lambish one. I am controlling if this last word exists in English, and I find a quote from Chaucer (1374) : "The lambisshe pepyl voyd of all vice, Hadden noo fantasye to debate." Happily our Lamb is no void of vices and has some fantasies to debate.

Some people have a habit of buying domain names and keep them parked. Later they find the right prospect and sell it. Maybe the super heroes had hatched such a plan too.... they always knew, the days of Transformers are ahead
As for superheroes as friends at MyLot... I have quite a bunch of them - maybe because I am one too

@topffer I think @Jlyn10 is still taking her power nap.
It might not be worthy of Superhero to sell his/her username, but then, superheroes too would get old and go out of business someday or the other.... also today's competition is growing tougher - in the past there were only Batman, Superman, some of Flash Gordon, Mandrake... and today, as you mention - Elektra, Wonderwoman... What about Wolverine or even Catwoman? Can we count them on the list of superheroes too .. Let me get a list of super heores from the Lego Movie... loved that one

@thesids It is a super nap.
Competition between superheroes is behind us I think. The golden age was in the 1970's-1980's. I was reading a lot of comics when I was a kid, but now kids are less interested by superheroes I think. I see less robots/superheroes in stores for Christmas than before.

The name of parked domains for sale is incredible. I know somebody who bought about 25 domains 10 years ago, and has kept them. He is a domain collector. He forgot to pay for one on time, and the domain has been stolen by another domain collector. We live in a wild web. I think that myLot does not give twice the same user name, even if an account is deleted, and it would be not worthy for a superhero to sell his user name.
Now that you are here, we can call @Jlyn10 to join. I have started this discussion to show her that she is not alone, and should lower her wages.

I don't see Superman1, but yes there are many Superboys.
Only old discussions against the guidelines have been deleted, and the discussions started by members banned. A spammer would have been banned. No, it is something else.
I suppose that you receive notifications of new followers like I do, and some people following have never posted one line. I don't know how many people are joining daily and are not posting, but they are many. If all discussions are indexed by search engines, there is a filter for adult words (a bit stupid and severe) for external views ; the only way to be sure to read completely a discussion is to join, and it is also the only way to follow the discussions posted every day. We have invisible stalkers here.

I actually did like the comics when I was a kid. In fact, I still love watching all the movies and am looking forward to the new movies that will be coming in the next few years.
