Liverpool has some very funny and surreal street art including dogs shaped like bananas or is it bananas shaped like dogs? Here is a photo of one to help you decide.

@arthurchappell I forget the full details but they were designed for the big Year of Culture (or whatever it was called) and represented the twin trades of wool and tropical fruit. Or something like that.

I would say that it's a banana shaped like an animal, may be more a lamb than a dog.

Or a banana lamb, producing woolly bananas. It is art, and I find interesting to put contemporary art in the streets. Many people are never going to Museums...

very true sadly though I can't get enough of museums and at galleries - this is the first image to benefit from resizing by the way or it wasn't going to fit on here.
