My Dumbest Stupid People Trick

Fellow myLotters were discussing what it is like to quit smoking and that reminded me of my second dumbest stupid little kid trick which was the time I tried to make and smoke some rolled up leaves I had gathered in the forest. Although it was a mistake and I could have hurt myself worse than I did, it was a good life lesson too because I never ever tried to smoke anything again after that adventure.
My first most dumbest thing was thinking I could fly. I was eight or nine years old, which should have been old enough to know better than to try this dumb trick, but my head wasn't straight because I was coming down with some kind of childhood illness and running a high fever. So I snuck out of bed and got out an umbrella and climbed on top of my dad's chicken coop. I opened the umbrella and jumped off, thinking this would slow down my descent. Wrong!
What was the stupidest thing you ever did?

I did alot of stupid things as a kid. I had three siblings doing everything with me. The stupidest thing i ever did was probably play the pass out game.

@drannhh I never started smoking. I ate several hash cakes at a party mistaking them for ordinary cookies once though.

I cannot call it a trick but a dumb thing I did much to the amusement of my husband who always waited to have a laugh at my expense. It was pitch dark on the road and we heard a noise that drew our attention. We could not see a thing. I switched on our lights and that is when my husband got the opportunity

@allknowing I always enjoyed giving my late husband a reason to laugh.

My recent attempt at a short cut on foot through a thorn bush enshrouded marsh was pretty dumb. I got badly cut and scratched, missed my job start time (possibly losing the job if they don't give me a fresh start date) and losing my bag so I had to go through again to salvage it.
