The completed computer

As some of you know, my son built me a desktop computer, but the keyboard I had didn't work. So my husband and I went out today and found not only a keyboard, but a backlit one and one that is for gamers. (If you had read me original post, you know my youngest son is even more super happy about that) Of course this keyboard is so different, it will take some time getting use to. But I am so happy to have a desktop computer again because I am more comfortable using a desktop for my writing.

Can you tell me what the backlit is .Now You have your own computer to do what you want without worrying about your younger son taking up your computer time .

@changjiangzhibin89 Like I told Simone, this model is only a few months old, but has great reviews. I sure once my son is no longer grounded and allowed on the computer again, he will love it too.

Do you see the green in the picture? That isn't the color of the keyboard, it is light and OI can change the colors from this green, to red, to a lighter green. As for my son taking over the computer, this desktop is now the best of the computers, so if I need a better computer, I would have to get my son off this one. But for subjects like my math, I can do that on my laptop.

He is, if I had just a small part of his intelligence, I probably would have had my degree a long time ago..

@TiarasOceanView No, I think he gets it from his dad, my husband likes to take things apart and put them back together again. I take something apart and it becomes trash.

The keyboards that I found difficult were the ergonomic ones because like so many other people I am so accustomed to the keyboard being straight.

@Carmelanirel2 He would use the letters far less than the average person, so it would be a problem to him.

I have gotten used to this keyboard and really love it. Except one time while my son was on., he accidentally switched the ASWD keys with the arrows keys. Now why that is available, I have no idea, because don't gamers still have to type, like to sign in? I guess if they didn't use those letters it would work, but we searched and found how to switch it back.

@Carmelanirel2 Sounds cool! The keyboard on my desktop doesn't light up, however the tower and mouse do. They just aren't multicolored!

@sacmom I saw the mouse that lights up, but decided to keep our mouse because it is hard to find a mouse with a cord and when one is gaming, a cordless isn't the best choice.

What I didn't know about this keyboard until this morning is, not only can I turn the light off, but it has three different colors, green, red, and light green.
