Representation of yourself?

United States

Using the reference of nature to describe yourself, which one of these below would you say is a representation of yourself? Flower - bright and vibrant, but also soft and delicate. The need to be nurtured. Bush - standing the middle ground. Able to stand up by itself, but could also use a hand to help define it. Tree - Tall and strong. Can stand alone. Something to look up to. I myself, would have to say a bush. I can stand by myself and have no problem in continuing to grow, but always welcome ideas and thoughts from others to help me along.

I would like to be a bush with flowers and fruits. I don't mind being pruned and shaped, but I like to stand firm and give good fruits and vibrant flowers.

@sofssu Well, let me see. I see a vibrant and bright woman, who has a wonderful outlook on life. Even when the chips are down, she can spin it to look magical. She is strong and always giving of herself. Ok, I will need more coffee to be able to see any more.

I have not the same idea of what symbolize a flower. It is certainly soft and delicate, but it is also a symbol of freedom : you cannot tell to a flower to bloom or flourish. It is the reason why there are no flowers in classical French gardens. I am tree, but I hesitate between an oak and an apple tree.

You have a point about the flower, but it also need to be coaxed a long at times. No flowers in French gardens? Then what is planted in them? Oh very nice, the oak is suppose to the mightiest. Why the apple tree? To be picked?

@TexanTornado I said classical French gardens, like the gardens of castles. They are made with grass, hedges and shrubs that can be trimmed easily. Here a view of Versailles orangery (the trees are fruit trees from the orangery). Apples are better than acorns, I think, except perhaps for wild boars.

@ChesneyM Here another view for you of the gardens of the castle of Vaux-le-Vicomte. It was designed in the 17th C. The first flowers appear in the middle of the 18th C in castles' gardens.

I'd have to say that I'm a bush as well, although I'm tall like a tree!

Flower for me. I am soft (my palms as per many are too soft and tender). I am more guided by my heart than anything. Upset me and I can be devastating. I may not be able to hurt you anyway physically but if I am messed I ensure that you face at least some of that mess.. Later, I regret and often will be the first one to come to you and lend the shoulder - and I do this with complete honesty. I cannot keep any anger or grudge against anyone for long. I forgive soon.

@TexanTornado somewhere being with a Big heart has its own complications. Many find my behavior of first hurting and then being the first to run and console suspicious. And I cannot blame my situation to my heart (because at the end, it is painful to realize that I have hurt anyone and at the same time, it is difficult to remain in pain inflicted by others).

@thesids That is true enough. You do have a good point. Do you find with having a big heart, people tend to use and abuse you a bit more?

Oh I love your answer. It is quite revealing of yourself. Yes, I understand exactly what you mean about being messed with. A flower who is small and delicate, but with a BIG heart.

I would have to say that I am a bush also. There was a time when I was flower but as I got older and when through life experiences, I have changed into a bush.

Bush. I hope I'm more like an Arborvitae bush though. It provides shelter to the birds, too.

I would say I am a tree. Creating ideas is my cardinal trait. I also happen to actively become counselor to family and friends. Somewhat like a cosy grand mother in whose arms they find solace.

I would like to be a tree because it can live the longest period of time. And I can associate a human with a tree because they face a lot of things. The tree face the wind, the cold weather, the hot one, the birds, the humans that scratch their barck and humans face the problems of thei life: family, kids, work, friends.
