I only opened a Facebook account last 2012 , one for the office and one for purely my closest relatives and friends , under two different usernames .
From then on , I get to show my husband pictures of my former classmates in high school and my relatives .
But still my husband didn’t open his FB account until a month ago .
Now, I always see him open his FB account and he was so happy to search and connect with his classmates from high school and college .
He said he is happy to see them with pictures of their families !
Is your husband or wife too on FB already ?

I'm on facebook and connect with my friend from High School and my old workplace -even I'm now in far away place from them. It feels good to still connect to people who was in your life and you still can communicate with them though can't meet them directly .
My husband is not on facebook unfortunately. He is not up to date with technology

My estranged husband is on Facebook. I don't keep up with him. I blocked him for personal reasons.

@SIMPLYD I did not block him because he is my estranged husband. There is more to it than that, he likes to start trouble. He has said straight out he wants to hurt me as much as he can. Apparently he isn't done yet. So, he is blocked.

@rusty2rusty Oh i see ! In that case , he should really be blocked . and perhaps he should have been blottered about saying that he wants to hurt you , for your future protection .

It is nice to hear that you have two separate accounts on FB so that your friends and relatives do not get mixed up. The problem on FB is - FB treats everyone as our 'friend' even if the relative happen to be our niece or nephew. .
Yes, it is always good to connect with old class mates/college mates on face book.
I would like to connect with you on your FB account.

We both have accounts, but he doesn't use his nearly as often as I do. I use it to share photos with family and close friends. He's added what seems like half the people in town to his friends list and basically just reads the memes they post once every couple of months. Then he decides it's just as stupid as it was the last time he checked it and contemplates deleting his account... he always forgets, though!

@Butchcass4 Let's just say they are really not into social interaction unlike us women who would sometimes comment on our friends' post . Them they would only take a look but never hit the button like at all.

So you know his password and can open it anytime . You can stalk at what he is doing at FB .
When my husband is at FB , i sit beside him to watch what he is doing at his FB account and he would show to me his former classmates from high school and college and how they look now.

@SIMPLYD My husband is much like yours. He goes through his friends pictures and he connects with other high school friends from the friends he already has on FB. He has several friends that post crazy videos and he watches them as well. He is also addicted to Pinterest.

@Shellyann36 Really he is into Pinterest . That 's nice. My husband prefers just browsing his friends ' updates but doesn't comment or even like. Then would search for cars at OLX , where he posted his buy and sell cars before they were all finally sold.

I had my facebook account even before I joined here. But I barely used it. When friends from MyLot started leaving I found some of them at Facebook and that made me get back to using Fb.
My wife does have an account but I havent seen her using it anytime. She is more distant from social media, and I never have understood the how and why of Fb at least on a personal level. Though I have kept posting from time to time there, but you know I post very little.

I joined Facebook in 2007 and my husband joined a year or two later. It's been three or four years that I'm not active on fb anymore. I use it mainly for business purposes. My husband on the other hand often opens his Facebook to check the news and be updated with his friends and our relatives' whereabouts. I hardly open my personal Facebook as I'm not enjoying it anymore.

@SIMPLYD No, they weren't. I was alone. But my whole family will travel to Singapore and Malaysia this December. I might be going to Bangkok first quarter of next year for business, just a three-day trip maybe.

@Namanjindal13 Upps sorry !
That's good that you are both at FB . At least if you are far from each other , like the other one goes somewhere on a vacation it's easy to see pictures taken by each one of you .

I can say that most of my family members have an FB account now. It's great that FB lets you connect with the people you know since childhood! I seldom post things about myself though, I use it more to keep in touch with people, and so does my husband.

@cahaya1983 But sometimes when me and my batchmates from high school would gather and eat out then have pictures , the one who always takes our picture would post them . If i don't look good , i can't do nothing though .

My husband was on FB for a business account before I was. I use it more, however and am better with it. He never notices that he has messages for instance.

At least , your husband is also on FB . But just like most men . they aren't into seeing who are on their notifications .
But we women because we are more sociable we try to discover how to go around it well so as to enjoy the interaction .

My mom is using Facebook. She loves chatting with her siblings and sharing their favorite songs. We also use Facebook to set parties and events (I made a close group for our family) since we live from different cities. It's quite helpful for my family.

No, my husband doesn't even get into his mail, but I do because it is connected to our paypal account. The only thing my husband really does is search for items on ebay or information like the weather or news.

@SIMPLYD Don't know about that, many of my friends are men, mostly women because I don't accept just anyone's friend request, but I do have quite a few male friends on Facebook

My Facebook activity is mostly for business - sharing articles and such. A few chats sometimes with friends, but most of the folks I talk to, I can see them and speak face-to-face. Who needs Facebook? My kids are on FB but they're boring, so I don't follow them.
