My Poor Brother

After yesterday, my brother has a new respect for me being home all day with our new puppy Daisy. I wasn't feeling good yesterday and he offered to watch Daisy while I took a nap.
When I woke up a couple of hours later, he told me everything that she had done and I couldn't help but laugh. He fought her over the broom and mop. She rode on the dust mop. She took the ties off the electrical cords so he had to go and take them off all the cords so she would not choke on them. She got behind the entertainment center and wouldn't come out. She ran off with his ceramic squirrel salt shaker. Every step he took, she took. This is just a few of the things she did.
He said he would much rather go to work everyday than have to stay home and take care of her. He loves her dearly but now understands how I feel at the end of every day. To be so little she is a handful. But when you look at that sweet face and get those puppy kisses, it's all worth it.

She sounds adorable and of course being a puppy, she will get into mishcief. It is cute though how she would follow him around. I have two dogs, and one of them always follows me around. It can get frustrating, but it is funny at the same time. God to love our pets though, as they like to surprise us.

That is so funny. I have known many people in the past who found that they really did not want to change jobs.

Sounds like she gave him a run for his money! Puppies are like kids, you gotta keep your eye on them.

It is a lot like raising a child. With Daisy being a dachshund, she is very independent and stubborn. She wants to do things her way and it usually takes around 10 times of saying no before she gets it. But, 5 minutes later she is right back to doing what she should be doing

It is so funny! I think he thought that all I did was sit around in the recliner and that Daisy was the perfect little angel. When I would describe my day to him and tell him some of the things she did, he would like at me as if to say, yeah right.

Hahaha, sounds like my husband after he retired and I started going to campus. He sees why I would be so frustrated when my son or dogs act up and what I had to deal with..Actually he has it somewhat easier, only one child and two dogs, I had three children, one dog, and sometimes a guinea pig or two.

@Carmelanirel2 Lol...with men it seems to take them actually being in the situation before they understand.
