Who needs a hobby when you have MyLot?!?

I talk to myself when my husband isn't around. 1: "You really shouldn't spend your free time on myLot. Get off the internet and finish writing your book" 2: "But I want to be here" I still don't know who is going to win

I talk to myself all the time. They say though when you start answering yourself is when you have problems, and so I guess I answer myself too.

Did you just copy paste from notepad onto Mylot As for talking to myself... I do that almost anytime I can. There is no one else around to talk to. The walls are tired and bored of my blabbering too and so is my computer. It doesnt understand me as it used to a few years back.

Yes, that I do and it becomes a big time battle at times.Of course I win, I don't ever go into anything unless I could win.

I regularly talk to myself. Sometimes I think I am actually talking to someone else but then I realise they're not listening anyway! myLot IS a hobby :) It's a perfectly good hobby. I admit that I have similar conversations with myself. Although mine are usually 'no, you can't take on another project until you've finished this one' or 'make up your mind about one thing before you take on a gazillion things and give up on all of them'. I'm trying to get my boys into board games/table top role play and that sort of thing. Well, the eldest is into everything just as I am. If only I'd thought of that 10 years ago, we'd be proper gamers by now! It's just something I've always wanted to do but not really had people to do it with. Now I have a partner who plays but doesn't want me to play with him (although he says he does after giving me excuses why I can't - there's a rant about that on here!). What was I saying? Oh yes, I do have lots of things I enjoy doing but I never feel like I have time for everything so, as my current (and long term yearning for) hobby is something I can do with my boys, that's what I'm doing. As well as watching sci-fi, and writing rubbish!

Often I talk to myself cause no one else seems to listen. Right now I am swearing cause I knocked a small television off a bed. Not that I ever watched it. Basically my son left it here when he left and he did not want it back. I do not have cable or any way to pick up much, but I do have three televisions. So, yes, I talk to myself and there is no hope of winning.

Oh yes , i also talk to myself specially if i am alone at home and husband isn't home yet . It keeps me occupied and at least don't feel so alone.

I also told myself that coming here is where it's at. LOL. I love being here at MyLot. But I also belong to a few other writing sites. I am trying to juggle them. It is not easy. I would give up the others altogether, but I never wanted to put all my eggs in one basket.

I talk to myself yes. Or I pretend to talk to other people sometimes when I want to practice on important discussions. I don't respond back though. But I imagine the responses and continue answer back, like a real dialogue. I am glad to hear that other people do it as well.

I love talking to myself. Even though sometimes I think I am crazy.

I always talk to myself, telling myself that I need to spend more time on myLot. I am only here in the early mornings, then other things get in the way.

@Rosekitty (11297) I talk to myself too, but not in the way you do. It's funny though. My inspiration comes day by day, from activities, from people, from school etc etc. When my idea comes , I get it , so you should have that hobby if you really wanna.
