Why not. Whats wrong with that!
I know some orthodox mind sets, some orthodox cultures do not allow and as such do not agree, but then, it is your life, your happiness and your interests. You should be in charge. There should not be any issue about it.

I was an orthodox girl, but now I've changed ...I am catholic. I know baptists are like that. Their religion not allow them to ask boys out. Interesting answer! Love it! Thank you !

There should be no reason for a girl not to ask a guy out and no reason to object to any girl who does. n Britain it is a tradition that a girl can propose marriage to a man on any February 29th, but any time should be fine though I expect I'll be waiting a long time.

cool ! i didn't know that , interesting thing. here in Roumania we don't have these traditions and everybody expects that the man propose the woman and so on . i wish i could live there. it's very interesting you as woman to propose the man . love the idea

Probably yeah, I would help a lot that kind of boys that is not good at asking girls out, and this happens a lot in some places, I've know a lot of friends that were no good at asking girls out. They would even get nauseated when trying to do so...
So yeah, I think girls should also ask guys out.
