Earning just by commenting

There are some who still earn cents even if they don't make their own discussions. I find it sad though because I cannot comment on their discussion since they don't have any. but then again we can comment on their comment, so there.

Doing that is no doubt better than doing nothing at all. It will be interesting to read what happens when you've tried it for a day.

You don't have to start your own disscussion if you don't want to. Just find ones that interest you, start responding, and then a comment will be posted back to you, and you comment back to them and so forth. AS has been stated, you don't earn for what you do, but from what others post to you whether it be your discussion or another users. I have discussions of mine, that have lots of comments and that is becasue when they comment to me, I comment back, and that way it keeps going, and it is getting really long too, but then that is what you want. When someone comments back to you, you will get a notification and you can go to your discussion from your notification. Just interact with others, so they will interact with you, and you both will earn.

try it for a day, just commenting and see how much your bank changes compared to days you post fresh discussions. Good luck.

Seems like you got the answer for your question already. I don't make it a goal to write a certain number of posts per day either. I didn't post for a few days (only participated in other people's discussions) and my earnings still went up.

As was stated below. The posting of discussions doesn't directly earn you revenue. It's the interaction that does. So starting a discussion only provides revenue if people discuss it, and if you interact with it. When you intereact with other discussions and people like and respond to you comments, that pays you as well. So you can do either. I do a little of both throughout the day.

I'm not really sure, some people are saying you don't have to post, interact.

We can't always good write. We can not write so well compared to someone else that can. But then they can not write as well as a great writer can. I think if we write what we think even if it is silly, then that is good.

You can make money by commenting too. as long as your comments get a lot of people responding to it, its pretty much like a disscusion with a lot of responces

I only start like one post every two days and I am still able to earn money here. I just interact a lot with other's people posts.

Oh yes, Mylot pays for interaction irrespective of who created the discussion. It is worthwhile to generate discussions, otherwise there would be nothing for any member to interact with. However, paying for interaction does remove the need for people to post any poor quality discussion purely to generate income.

I think you can earn more by commenting. It is tough to find new discussions that attract you, unless you can comments on all new discussion threads, and old discussion threads.

Actually, you don't really need to start discussions to earn here. As others have mentioned, you earn by interacting with others here and not by posting. I think a lot of people have this idea that myLot is to be treated like a "dear diary" sort of place where one would post about what happened to them during the day, or share what they are doing with others - much like a journal. But as I understand it, this is not the case. myLot is a discussion site, which means we are meant to discuss topics with each other - have a back and forth with each other in the comments section. That is where we earn - when we talk to each other down in the comments about the topic put forth by the OP. We are not even supposed to duplicate topics. It is best practice to search first if the topic you think of has already been started, and join that old discussion instead of starting a new one.

Sure you can. We just need to interact with each other anyway. So you can just comment to those discussions made by our friends around here.

Yep, I think your best money will be being social. Oh, start things if you want and have an idea of a discussion, but don't sweat not doing so.
