Comparision

Well I liked the layout and cute categories of the old myLot, but this version is so much sleeker and has much better options to suit me anyways I think. I can now do many things that I was unable to in the old site which I appreciate very much.

It was different before in the fact, that we only got paid for what we did and not what others did, wheras now, in order to be paid, we must interact with other ujsers. When someone commenst to me, I will comment back to them, and so forth.. It is amazing how many comments that one discussion can get. Quite a few, and they end up going every whcih way. That is what is great about mylot now from what it used to be. I love mylot, as I have so much fun.

The layout was completely different back then. It's difficult to describe, but you can find examples of it through the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. Although the site had tags, they weren't used to categorize posts like they are now. We had actual interest categories, things like "people" and "life" and "make money online," that we could use to find interesting discussions to reply to. The homepage had a number of modules that let us see things like our personal messages, new discussions from our friends, hot topics, and so on. I never did get used to using the new layout after they stopped paying the first time. Still prefer the old version, although I didn't like it that much when they first introduced it, either!
