Hey everyone,
I have been old Mylotter and I know Mylot used to pay more to quality contributors but now Mylot have been making changes in their rules and regulations.
I am not in a position to conclude whether Mylot should pay more to quality contributors or not because Mylot is not an article writing site but its not an chatting site either where everyone just chat about useless things and use slang language.
There are many advantages and disadvantages of rating systems. It will make people do research and contribute qualitatively to earn more.
I think @GoAskAlice will help us soon regarding this issue. But meanwhile I would like to know what Mylotters think about it? Why would you like to or not like to have rating system on Mylot?

It is unlikely that the rating system will be resurrected, the new system is very different and I don't even think it could be accommodated under the new architecture. Besides, it was a source of ill will and discontent. I, for one, am glad it's gone.

Yes. Who wants to be judged? On other sites there was a dislike button and that caused much ill will. So I'm glad it's not here.

I think that the '-' was abused in the old myLot and that several quality contributors never got a blue star. I have nothing about a system with a 'like' and a 'dislike' if the dislike is like the like, id est not anonymous : people have to assume their choice, or we will see trolls again.
