What type of reader are you?

As I mentioned in another post I like to read more than one book at a time and I don't confuse the plot lines because I make sure that they are far enough apart with their differences. I also find myself exploring many genres and also researching and planning what books I will read next. So based on this infographic I would be a a Polygamist Extrovert reader. But I find it interesting that I do identify with the characters sometimes so I have Introvert tendencies. What type of reader are you? Also being a psychology major in college I find it interesting that there is an extrovert and introvert personality and there are introvert and extrovert readers. Do the two match up? I think a extroverted person might be adventurous in their life but not necessarily adventurous when it comes to books, they might actually be a little bit introverted because they can really get deep into the characters and want to know everything about them. An introverted person could also be a monogamist reader because they like what's comfortable and are too shy to try new books.

I have read two books at one time before. I buy my own books to read only at home so when I take them back to the bookstore to get another the covers have to be in good shape. I see when I carry a book around it does not stay in good shape. I was reading another book at the time and read the book I bought. Normally I like to read one book at a time. The books I normally read I get from a friend and return them to her after I finish and tell her if good or not. Most of the books she has given me I have liked a lot.

I choose the story that I really like. It should be something that I really like or the review is good. I read the over view or summary if it has at the back and wonder why. I read the story from first to end, i do not cheat. I let the story goes on as it normally written. I love suspense type so most of the type I feel the suspense so I let the book to end within a week because I can't stop reading if the story is really good.

I'm not really sure where I fit in. I do tend to read books that seem interesting to me. Although I tend to gravitate towards mysteries/detective stories, I do read various genres of books.

I have never heard of the different types of readers, but it is an interesting topic. I am definately a polygamist reader. I am able to read several books at the same time and I don't mix up the plots. I also think that I an an extrovert reader. I read many different genres, and I am interested in exploring the genres that I don't know very well. I would find it hard to stick to one genre, and I think that I would get bored if I did that. On the other hand I like to think about the plot and sometimes I identify with the characters.

Intersting. I don't really fit any of those. I prefer a book at a time, normally, but often will read one for a bit, then decide i want to read something else, go read book two and then finish book one. So maybe a bit of poly and mono, since I also love rereading favorite many many times. In any regards thanks for the share, this was very interesting.

I am monogamist and a bit altruist. I love when my family has read the book and I can talk with them about it.
