Why is it so? hmm.. let me try to answer that with different examples as I have obtained from experiences through life and reading.
Do you really need a reason why we die?
"Reasoning is related to attachment. When attachment arises, wisdom is shut out." says Siddhartha Gautama
Hence we should never identify ourselves with reason, for man is not and never will be a creature of reason alone, a fact to be noted by all pedantic culture-mongers.
If you are Buddhist and/or Hindu, it is fait. Life goes in a circle. According to Buddhism there is always reincarnation. It is not the end. To get out of this life circle, you need to obtain The Englightment. Even Gautama had to practice alot to get out of this Life Circle and obtain Nirvana.
According to Buddhism and Hindi, our life style depends on what has happened in the past. Everything tends to end and revive again.
According to Christianity and Islam, it because of Adam and Eve has ate the apple. If they have not done it, we would be immortal.
My theory, enjoy it as it is. do not think much. accept it. What is meant to happen shall find its way.

These WHY questions will never be answered.
Why do we have blood... I know, to survive and live.... BUT why???
We will never know these why questions.
