Would you miss your computer?

Would you miss your computer? I see that many people have their computer on from getting up to going to bed. A lot people also use mobile technology to stay connected to the internet. That a change to people’s lives over a short period of time. We seem to live with our computer and can’t do without. What would you do if didn’t have a computer for a period of time. I have many things outside of my internet world. I love to walk, love running/jogging, I love photography. I know I would be lost without my computer but I do have others things that would keep me busy until I had my computer back, what about you?

i would miss my computer, but on the other hand, I could use my phone to do things that I do, like posting in here. I guess I have had a computer so long, that i don't know what it is like not to have it. I use it everyday, to do different things, so I hope I never have to do without.

@kevin1877uk Those that have never had a computer, wouldn't know what it would be like to have one, so we are just the opposite. I have had computers for a very long time, and I would certainly miss mine for sure.

I know that if I did not have the internet or computer, I would be fine. I have had lots to do through the years with paperwork and others so it would not be hard for me. I would miss it, but it is not the be all and end all. myLot I would mainly miss.

I do have some other things to keep me busy if my computer would be down. I wouldn't like it but oh well those things happen. I like to sit outside on the front porch while my dogs are out there playing. I am afraid now the weather is becoming to cool for me out there.

it may be difficult at first, but I would find other things to keep me busy. It would take sometime to get used and I wouldn't really like it, but I'd get used to it.

I went 73 years without a computer, so I'm sure I could manage again! However I certainly would miss it.

@kevin1877uk In all seriousness though, I do all my work on a computer, if its broken or lost, I'd be completely gutted. Tried to write a post card the other day and my hands actually hurt from gripping onto the pen. /weak sauce

I would still want my computer back. because I do many other things with it other than writing here or on other sites. I won't become crazy even then because my gardening, crafting and painting will keep me occupied for a long, long time.

Some days I wish my computer wasn't there beckoning as I'm not hot on willpower. However, I do take occasional deliberate computer breaks from time to time. I read and walk mostly, write non-internet writing and heaven forbid, I even do housework and gardening

My computer is mission-critical for my work and livelihood. I have a desktop, a server to back-up my work and two laptops ready to go if something happens to my desktop. Each hour without a working computer would mean loss of a significant amount of income.

Havens! I would go crazy. I am home with three dogs 33% of the time, and don't have any friends here. So all my interactions, and the friends I have from other places we have lived, I use online to interact with them!

I need a computer for the work I do, but I could manage a new life without one if I had to. As for breaks, I take vacations without a computer and have no problem adjusting to a life without one.

Oh yes, I would certainly miss having a computer because I do use mine for many varied tasks. Fortunately it is not a likely scenario because I have both a desktop and a laptop.

I may miss the computer on the first day. But then I always have a novel to keep me company. I won't mind staying away from my computer for some time, especially when I have a couple novels which I haven't yet read.

That's a tricky question for me, because there's a lot of things I wish I could do, But I don't cause I don't have the necessary means to do it(Sometimes money, time itself etc). With my current state, I need my computer to do stuff, or I won't have anything to do at all. A day that I can't use it for whatever the reason, is a day I will probably pass sleeping(If it's a free day).

I would absolutely miss my 3 computers! They are all related to earning more money and my speculative writing. But I take breaks with binge reading both fiction and non fiction.
