Funny , But I Had To !

How it is to ride in a jeepney

One of our uniforms was a whole dress . It was a beautiful uniform , with a blazer . However , I hate it when I ride the jeepney because when I sit , it would go up my legs and become so short . Sometimes , the ones in the other side of the jeepney would stare at me . Also when I step up the jeepney and go inside the jeepney , I have this feeling that it go up my butt. Thus , last night when I arrived wearing it still , I bent so low with my butt fronting the whole mirror and looked at the mirror in between my legs . Thank God , it doesn’t go so short as to show almost my panty ! And since I am in my panty stockings my legs looks good when I do that . I attached a picture taken inside a jeepney so you can imagine how it is to ride a jeepney .

I am trapped I am no girl or woman to comment on the dress codes or even how uncomfortable they feel in situations like the one you mention and I dont understand those men either who look up at how a girl looks or gets exposed. So what do I write about.... Okay, let me confine to the jeepney then. The picture of the Jeepney you put up looks like a larger version of what we call "autos" here in India. These are three wheeled and are called "Tuk-Tuk" in some other parts of the world where they are found.

I know you can't relate because it seems a girl talk , but you can give your comment in seeing a girl in a dress and her dress become short when she sits . But i cover the expose upper leg area with my blazer which i always carry with me whenever i am in this uniform . As to your "tuk-tuk " i think we have that which we call Taxicle. It's a motorcycle with a jeepney like appearance too that can seat two on both sides of the driver , three on the seat after them on their back side , then at the tail end 4. Innovative , these motorcyles are .

@SIMPLYD but you can give your comment in seeing a girl in a dress and her dress become short when she sits I think I mentioned that aspect when I wrote - I dont understand those men either who look up at how a girl looks or gets exposed There have been a couple of instances when I saw other people staring and I asked the lady/girl to tidy her posture or costume. And though the lady would reciprocate and arrange things up fast, but then, she would look at me as if I have done something disastrous. So I fail to understand how should I be in such situations. Ultimately, I realized (thanks to my wife) - that it should not be any of my business to ask/tell others,

That is interesting. I never knew how it is inside a jeepney. We have what we call auto rickshaws, and 7-seaters.

When my daughter wants to wear a dress that can show something if bent over or sitting down. i have her wear shorts underneath. you can't tell unless she bends over. Which is find with me. As it covers everything up.

My officemate also does that . They wear cycling shorts . But i will be wearing a cotton pantylet tomorrow , since this fabric clings to my stockings thus it creeps up .

Mini-skirts were common in the 70's here, but they have quite disappeared and there is not a company who would force an employee to wear one today. I did not knew how was a jeepney inside. I would try to put my eyes elsewhere, but it would be difficult to not have a look at your cute legs.

@SIMPLYD I am a gentleman, and I never stare, even on cute legs. I think that I would be as embarrassed as you in a situation like this one.

No my uniform is of a decent length. It just gets too short when you seat specially that i am in high heels. The picture attached is a sample of how it is inside the jeepney . The passengers are fronting each other . so you know if the there is someone in front looking at y ou. n It's okay to look once but not to stare . T I think my legs are cute specially that they are flawless because of the stockings !

Tricky situation.. can you not have the length increased if you feel it rides up too high.. take down the hem or something?

Actually , i already had the hem lowered and there's none left to lower . It's already a bit long . However the material is satiny like so it hugs the legs . But i always bring my blazer because i put the blazer over my legs so they can't see them when i am seated already .

@SIMPLYD I guess wearing some kind of shorts would help.. it won't ride up like a slip.

That was smart of you to check it out in the mirror. At least now you know that you aren't showing more than you want to show.

Correct , my friend . If it did , i would wear a pantylet . So it will be my pantylet they will see . My uniform's hem is already at its end because i had it lowered . It's just that , it creeps up the moment i step up the jeep and when seated already .

@etavasi actually , i have my blazer always to put over my upper legs when seated at the jeep already . It hides my dress that crept up and became short while seated .

@Lushlala That is quite an inconvenience , to change to uniform upon arriving at the office . I simply put my blazer over my legs , whe n i am already seated . No one can see how my dress became short when seated anymore.

Honestly it shouldn't matter as long as your private are properly covered. So what if more leg was showing. And it is human nature to try and grab a look here and there.

And besides my legs are with stockings , sometimes light ash and sometimes black . So , my legs aren't bare at all.

@inertia4 That's so nice of you . Indeed , there's nothing wrong with a woman showing off her sexy legs . Although , as for me i don't have that intention and have no choice but to wear the uniform . Anyway , i have my stockings so my legs aren't bare then .

@SIMPLYD I see nothing wrong with a woman showing off her sexy legs. For some woman, as long as thy feel they look good, it makes them feel good as well. Women are to me, just amazing.

A revealing dress, is sure to get you awkward stares. And I'm pretty sure you are not going to like them. Since quite a few oglers can't help themselves, if there is a lady dressed as such.

@gregario888 Hehe they can't help themselves?! Where have they been all this time that they've never seen legs? I think they need to be told that it's rude to stare.

That is true , that's why i hate this uniform that creeps up when seated already . actually , when i am standing it has a moderate length . It's just when seated and when i climb up the jeep that it shortens because the dress creeps up . When already seated , i cover my legs with my blazer . They see none of my legs anymore .

I know what you mean my friend. I remember when I had to ride a public bus to go to the college when I was a teen. Our uniform was so tight that I was almost unable to step on the bus. It is embarrassing.

Really ! I can just imagine how inconvenient that is . I didn't experience that yet because i don't like tight clothing even in my younger years . . In my college days , we wear casual ones so it's shirts , blouse and jeans and sandals.

@LadyDuck That's what is not nice with ready made uniforms. There are more allowances to loosen it , just like this uniform of mine , after i have the hemline lowered , there's no more to lower down.

@SIMPLYD We were not allowed to wear jeans or pants, only dressed or a blouse and a skir, but the skirt of the uniform was tight, very uncomfortable.

I have had dresses like that before. They seem to fit fine until you sit down. When I was in high school in the 70's, mini skirts were in style. My father wasn't too happy about it and whenever I got a new outfit, he would make me sit down in front of him to make sure it wasn't too short. If it passed the test, I could wear it to school

It probably quite a short dress or so fitted that when you move a little it hikes up. I agree that you shoulde wear a pantyhose for protection purposes or you can wear s mini cycling pants. Its like a skimpy shorts.

It's actually moderate in lenght and it's loose . However it's material is that it's satiny . I don't like those cycling shorts . Last night , when me and my officemates go up the jeepney she was ahead of me . Half of her black cycling shorts showed . Mine , none because i am in my ash stockings . The ash stockings prevents the feel of being bare .

@SIMPLYD well, if it satin cloth it will really cling either to the area or any other material..... waaaaa...... why use satiny cloth.

@rakski I hate the cloth ! It really clings to the legs specially on my stockings ! Our HRD were the ones who chose the fabric from the tailor shop that sewed them .

Thank goodness I don't have to wear that uniform or even ride a jeepney! When I was in Thailand I had to wear a skirt and commute from my apartment to the school. They had a public transport which is very similar to our jeepneys they call songtew (pardon my spelling but I don't know how to spell it with the English alphabet). However, it was built in such a way that you don't really have to bow down low when getting in or taking off and the seats are higher than a jeepney. IN fact you can stand inside a songtew. But I feel you on how uncomfortable it is to wear a skirt and take a jeepney.

That's a nice public transport because you don't have to bend . This one dress uniform of us is the first time design . I had the hemline lowered to the maximum already , but its fabric and style would creep up when you bend and seat . I cover it with my blazer when already seated ,

I have seen girls wearing One piece uniforms / dresses like the one you describe wearing. I have seen girls riding and sitting inside the jeepney. They sit carefully and place their bags on their laps so not to show their legs when the dress goes up. Hehehe. The jeepney is not full huh.

That's true . If i's just not required to wear that uniform , i would prefer my pants and blouses , which i always wear to office when there's no uniform.
