I thought of a great idea at work today. I heard that the famous Playboy magazine has been suffering a decline in sales lately. I then thought that I couldn't recall seeing one in any stores for a long time. And it hit me. Nobody's buying them because they're not relevant to the majority of people I know. I can fix that! A lot of my friends live in what the kids call "the hood". And blonde, big breasted models aren't really the normal type of woman you see on a late night walk at 3 a.m. So my idea is to have an "urban" version of Playboy and watch sales go through the roof. It could feature a spread called "The Hottest Single, Welfare Moms Under 25"! And interesting articles like "The Top Three Places To Buy Your 40 Without Getting Shot" and "The Best Five Pawnshops That Don't Ask Too Many Questions (If You Know What We Mean)". Now as the whitest of white dudes, this may sound racist. And judging from the the rest of this year I'm sure someone, somewhere will be offended. But it's not only a great idea, it's funny. I've never been heckled while doing this bit on open mic nights. Of course I do my sets naked so who's really paying attention? This is my first post here by the way. Shower me with affection. Or just shower me. I'm open to all suggestions :)
