Never Forget

I'm from Texas, born and raised in the US of A. On September 11, 2001, what we now know as 9/11 took place. There were thousands of casualties between the World Trade Center, the Twin Towers, and the planes that crashed into the field instead of another important building, thanks to the victims-turned-heroes on board the plane.
But it wasn't just America that was affected. The entire world witnessed this, on their televisions, on the Internet, in person. Millions upon millions watched as America as a country fell to its knees for a day, mourning the death of their family and friends.
90 countries had casualties from the World Trade Center alone. 90 countries - that's almost half of the total countries that encompass this planet. 90 countries were affected, some way or another, and countless more were affected.
Today we continue to mourn. I tear up as I write this, and I was only a child when I witnessed this happen. I wouldn't even go so far as to call myself patriotic, and I still grieve. Never forget.

I was a child when it happened, but it still messed up with my mind. It was terrible.
