I used to have a collection of piggy banks when I was a kid. Unfortunately, nobody ever showed me how to use them properly. I had to struggle with learning to save as an adult. My kindergartner has a piggy bank that's divided into four sections: spend, save, donate, and invest. We're teaching her how to use it. The toddler loves it, so we'll probably get her one this year even though she's not quite old enough to understand. She'll still have fun putting coins into her piggy.

Liked the four sections... wise investments can be introduced to them at the right time so it is not spend unnecessarily.
