Its been 14 years now since 9/11, I remember being in school and watching the attack on television in my school homeroom. Generally I do not like to touch basis on this type of thing, but the day after has kind of gotten my mind wandering.
There is a rumor going around that ground zero and the memorial there, that not a lot of people are visiting it anymore. Is this because they don't care, that they don't want to remember that tragic day. Or that they are busy doing something else to even remember what day it is?
Personally, I think people want to forget so they do not make a big deal out of it anymore and they want to go on and start to live a normal life, they want to be happy and enjoy what they have and their families, what is your view on this?

I hope not either @jstory07 , I'm thinking when a new president takes over then there might be an attempt, who knows.

I think some it's too painful, and some may feel that it is disrespectful to visit, that it's like being a tourist at a sacred place.

I totally do agree with you on that aspect, I would feel it is too sacred to visit. Yet I'd visit once to pay my respects and that is it.
